Michael has held senior sales and marketing positions both in bluechip technology companies such as the Racal Group and several start-ups. His experience extends across UK, Scandinavia , Eastern Europe countries, Nigeria as well as  encompassing the EMEA region and beyond

He specializes in opening territories  establishing, developing then sustaining profitable distribution channels across the region, with particular emphasis on new products and services. He has taken territories from zero to sixteen million dollar businesses in the space of three years.

He founded an innovative remote access solutions company in 1999,  merging successfully in 2000 with Materna GmbH to establish its UK subsidiary – Materna Communications plc. As Managing Director Michael retained responsibility for sales, where he secured both high value core network element business as well as  revenue generating mobile platform opportunities; establishing a broadly-based business with UK mobile network operators, which continues to provide service and maintenance revenues to the present day.

Michael holds honours degrees in Physics (Leeds 1974) and Art History (Open University 2008).
